Blinker Buyer’s Guide

  1. Create a Blinker account

Be sure to sign up with an active email address. If you don’t think you’re getting any email notifications from us, check your Spam folder or reach out to our Blinker Support Team.

  2. Find a car you like

There are hundreds of cars for sale on Blinker, with new ones added every day. If you don’t see a car you love, you can invite any seller to Blinker and you can both make $100 through the referral program.

  3. Get a Blinker loan

To finance a vehicle, we recommend that you get pre-qualified before you test drive. It just takes a few minutes and doesn’t affect your credit score. To get pre-qualified, select “Purchase options” on any car you like.

  4. Message the seller

When you want to ask questions about a car or set up a test drive, select “Message seller” on any listing. Blinker keeps all of your personal information anonymous and secure.

  5. Meet up for a test drive

Take the car for a spin and see how you like it. We recommend that you meet in a safe, neutral location, like a coffee shop or a police station. Also, this would be a good time to take the car to a mechanic if you’d like an inspection.

  6. Make an offer

When you’re ready to pull the trigger, simply make an offer on the car. If you decide to pay with a Blinker loan, this is when you’ll customize your loan terms, including your down payment and monthly payment.

  7. Complete your To-dos

Once your offer is accepted, it’s time to pay through our mobile app. You can download Blinker in the App Store or Google Play store for free. We then recommend entering your bank details as soon as possible to transfer payment securely.

  8. Exchange keys

You and the seller will have one “Final Checklist” to complete in the app before you get the keys. When you’re finished, you will sign the Bill of Sale digitally and transfer ownership to your name. Then, the funds are withdrawn and the car is yours!
